I may need to find a few more facts and potentially change the wording a bit to my own words but I think 10 facts will be enough - 2 per character - without it being an overhaul of information. It should be pretty easy to work each fact into the book with them relating to different parts of the book. 

Illustrator set-up for the lift flaps - the right being a guide for placing the facts for the boxes to then be deleted.




The colours are too similar to see the difference, I completely forgot to remove the outlines of the text underneath andddd it will work better when there aren't two different levels so the lift flap will sit flatter. I'm also hoping that it work better with thicker paper and that is unlikely to be the overall font but I think this could work well.

Fairy tale world research

 Shrek -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsqpVl0TVek&ab_channel=KhoiTran Shrek is a great example of a fairy tale world that has both high levels of creativity but also connections to real life - some items of food recognisable (both as food and as non-food related items - eyeballs as olives) with quirky twists, animals that are recognisable (donkeys, mice, pigs etc.) with the difference being that all animals can talk.
