Children’s activity book

 I bought my cousin an activity book all about ‘great women’ from history, what they did and engaging with it for Christmas. I really love this book- the illustrations are beautiful and it’s so creative with the content:







I hope my cousin loves this book as much as I do! It’s so beautiful and full of inspiration which is perfect for the target audience. I need to find ways of making the subject of environmentalism and saving the world interesting and engaging and something that really appeals. I think the key to that will be to not focus all tooooo much on the doom and gloom of it all and look at the achievable things that can be done and how to make it almost into a game.

Fairy tale world research

 Shrek -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsqpVl0TVek&ab_channel=KhoiTran Shrek is a great example of a fairy tale world that has both high levels of creativity but also connections to real life - some items of food recognisable (both as food and as non-food related items - eyeballs as olives) with quirky twists, animals that are recognisable (donkeys, mice, pigs etc.) with the difference being that all animals can talk.
